Luis (Lou) Monteagudo is a proven insurance executive with extensive expertise in Accident and Health insurance and reinsurance. With a tenure of over three decades in the field, including 26 years of dedicated service at a leading global insurance organization, Lou has continuously demonstrated his expertise in establishing and managing high-performing insurance and reinsurance profit centers.
As a board member of a multi-billion dollar Property and Casualty reinsurance and insurance company, Lou has played a pivotal role in shaping strategic decisions, thereby contributing significantly to organizational success. His management responsibilities have spanned across various key functional areas including sales, underwriting, actuarial, claims, and administration.
Lou is recognized as a leader in Accident and Health with a track record of profitably navigating through multiple market cycles while driving growth. His expertise lies in all Accident and Health insurance and reinsurance products, including Medical Stop Loss, Managed Care Excess, Major Medical, Accident, Supplemental and Ancillary Benefits, High Limit Disability, and Travel Insurance.
ABOUT ALEK
Alek Boskovich is an accomplished insurance professional with 22 years of experience, specializing in underwriting stop loss coverage across employer-sponsored health plans and captive arrangements. Alek focuses on leveraging sophisticated underwriting techniques, including predictive modeling, claims trend analysis, and risk-specific pricing. Alek has practiced underwriting in multiple markets and across a spectrum of risk-transfer modalities.
As a steward of successful risk mitigation in the A&H space, Alek excels at optimizing coverage structures while ensuring financial stability. With a deep understanding of medical cost drivers and tailored risk mitigation designs, Alek delivers precise and data-driven solutions. Alek is adept at collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders including carriers, MGUs, brokers, TPA’s and other vendors. He enjoys communicating complex concepts with clarity and efficiency and seeks to foster trust and alignment.

Tom Roberts is a consulting actuary with more than two decades of experience across health insurance, reinsurance, and actuarial consulting. He has held actuarial roles at leading health insurers, global reinsurers, and consulting organizations, with a focus on applying rigorous analysis to complex pricing, risk, and financial questions.
Tom’s work emphasizes technically demanding problems that require careful modeling, sound judgment, and a clear understanding of how product, underwriting, and financial dynamics interact. He helps clients evaluate risk, assess alternatives, and make informed decisions in situations where details matter and standard approaches may not be enough.
Tom’s experience includes Medical Stop Loss, Managed Care Excess, Major Medical, Supplemental and Ancillary Benefits, and a wide range of reinsurance structures.
